Victoria Beckham couldn't put up with the constant speculations of the press regarding a romantic link between Spanish actress Ana Obregon and her hubby David Beckham. So the former Spice Girl snapped and attacked, only verbally, Obregon.

According to a source quoted by The Daily Star, it all happened at a Spanish gym:

"They were yelling at each other in the corridor. It wasn't pretty.
Luckily, it didn't come to blows, but that might only be because Victoria had two bulky bodyguards with her.
Just about every time Ana is interviewed on TV she is asked about David. It must have been getting on Victoria's nerves.
She finally lost it and gave Ana a verbal, pasting in the gym."

This might lead to a law-suit, as Ana Obregon is now considering filing.
Her lawyer, Javuer Saavedra, declared:
"The altercation initiated and protagonised by Mrs Victoria Beckham is absolutely unjustified, absurd and disproportionate."

That wouldn't be the first trial Mrs. Beckham would attend. She and her husband have appeared in court to defend their marriage against allegations made in the News of the World newspaper in an article suggesting that "to protect their image and for financial reasons, (they) are cynically and hypocritically trying to convince the public that their failed marriage is perfect."
