Victoria Beckham is finally getting the daughter she wanted all along. Sources close to the family tell The Sun that the star, who is pregnant with her fourth child, will be delivering a daughter this summer.

Both Posh and husband David have often spoken about their desire to add a baby girl to their family of 3 boys, but, so far, their wish has not been granted.

All that will change this summer, since Victoria has just learned that she’s expecting a baby girl, says the British tabloid citing sources close to the couple.

Victoria, 36, had a scan in January at the private Rivers Hospital near her family home in Sawbridgeworth, Herts, where medics were unable to establish the gender of her child,” The Sun writes.

She returned for another scan the other day and, thanks to professional equipment, doctors were able to tell her with enough accuracy that she’s expecting a baby girl.

“But after a 16-week ultrasound scan nearly a fortnight later she was told she was expecting a girl. Posh then returned for a 4D scan and was told her daughter was healthy and developing perfectly,” The Sun.

Understandably, Victoria and David are over the moon, says the spy.

“David and Victoria are over the moon. This will be their last child and to be told they are having a girl is the icing on the cake for the Beckham clan,” the family friend reveals.

The two are ecstatic, especially since they long decided that they would only have 4 children, this being the number they considered “perfect” for their family.

In other words, this was Victoria’s last chance of having a baby girl.

The former Spice Girl turned successful fashion designer is due this summer. Since the pregnancy announcement, Victoria has not been seen out – in the sense that there are no paparazzi shots of her pregnant.

Doctors have told her that the baby is healthy and developing well, The Sun also informs.
