Victoria Beckham is a four-time mommy but she knows that looking good for the cameras at all times is a prerequisite if she wants to last in the industry. Since she’s set to debut her new line at Fashion Week next month, she’s gone on the strict Five Hands diet to lose all the pregnancy weight.

While pregnant with daughter Harper Seven, Posh gained about 22 pounds. Since giving birth, she’s been “cooped up” in the family’s Malibu home, trying to shift all that weight, the Daily Mail claims.

Granted, she can’t exercise as much as she’d like right now, because doctors have warned her not to strain herself for 8 weeks after the C-section, her fourth to date.

However, days after giving birth, she went on a diet, with the goal to lose the weight by the time she launches her new collection at Fashion Week at the beginning of next month.

“The former Spice Girl has been following the new Five Hands diet to taper her figure in time for a grand unveiling at New York Fashion Week from September 8-15,” the Mail writes.

The diet consists, as its name implies, of eating only five handfuls of high protein foods the entire day and, of course, cutting almost everything else out.

“A source told the magazine that she has cut out sugar and has been snacking on miniscule portions of smoked salmon, prawns with chilli, yellow-fin tuna sushi and scrambled eggs,” the British tab further says.

An unnamed spy confirms that Victoria is working hard to attain her weight loss goal by the time she’s due back in the spotlight, even doing some light exercise daily: about 10 minutes of Pilates.

“Victoria wants to be in the best shape she can in time for New York Fashion Week,” says an unnamed but admittedly reliable insider.

“Five days after giving birth, she started eating five high-protein meals a day accompanied by green vegetables, drinking gallons of water, and only snacking on goji berries and nuts,” the source adds.

As soon as her doctor gives her the OK, Victoria will go back to the gym and train with celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson to get back her pre-Harper Seven body.
