Posh is game for one more, final show - and sets her own terms for it

When the Spice Girls showed up in their original format at the announcement of the Spice Girls musical “Viva Forever,” many noted that Posh Victoria Beckham was the least enthusiastic of the lot. This explains how come she's the one calling all the shots now.

The Daily Mail reports that the Girls have agreed to perform together as a 5-member band at the Olympics in London, but it was Victoria who set her own terms for the reunion.

Before you get too excited about the news that the Spice Girls are coming back, there's some bad news coming.

To agree to perform, Posh reportedly asked to never have to do anything with the Spice Girls again. In other words, this will be a one-time thing, the swan song for Spice Girls in their original format.

It's just as well, says an insider, who claims to have heard Geri Halliwell confide that she's actually relieved Victoria is out of the picture for good after the Olympics performance.

“After the Olympics I can't imagine even talking to her again, let alone being on a stage with her. Mel B. was right, she has lost the spirit of the band,” Geri allegedly said.

A rep for Posh insists all this is just a rumor, since the Spice Girls are not confirmed yet for a performance at the highly mediated sports event.
