Campaign already generating plenty of interest

In October, when Victoria Beckham officially announced that she had signed on to become the face of the global Emporio Armani Women’s Underwear campaign, word on whether the woman most notoriously known for complaining about her body would make it began to circulate in the media. The first shots for said campaign have just been made public and it seems that Posh did extraordinarily well, it is being said.

Coming to show that posing for lingerie and looking smoking is a Beckham thing (husband David also caused huge waves with a couple of ads for the men’s line coming from the same designer), the two black and white photographs show Victoria striking one of her usual moody, mean poses, while flaunting her toned body.

With plenty of makeup to make her almost unrecognizable and her silhouette perfectly “framed” by shadows, Victoria looks truly stunning in the new Armani ads, consensus in the media has it. The toned muscles all over her body and the complete lack of even the faintest trace of cuteness (Posh is also widely know for her unwillingness to smile) place the new shots among the fiercest to ever come from Armani.

“I started running regularly about a year ago and when this campaign came about, I began working harder every day.” Victoria said back when the official announcement for the collaboration was made. In the end, all that hard work has paid off, since Mr. Armani couldn’t be more thrilled by the shots that have just been made public.

“I chose Victoria Beckham to launch our new global Emporio Armani Women's Underwear campaign because she is a stylish and intriguing woman. […] I wanted to work with someone who would make a real impression. I’m sure Victoria’s presence will generate great excitement and contribute to the continued international growth of our business.” Mr. Armani told media representatives upon the launch of the new ads.
