Rumors say that her first 400 dresses sold out even before hitting the stores

Showcased for the first time at the New York Fashion Week in September, along with her fabulous, newly cropped hairdo, Victoria's clothing line has managed to take the fashion industry by storm. This time in a good way, though. Even though the line has only 15 unique styles, each of them maintaining a strict note of chic-classic, the collection is a smashing success.

All the 400 dresses said to be made available at Selfridges, in London and Manchester stores, vanished almost over night. Hopefully, a few items will still remain for the Net-a-Porter, in February, since they're going to promote the collection, too. Fashion addicts worldwide and potential fans of Posh’s gowns will also be able to do some fancy shopping, Victoria-style, at Harrods and Bergdorf Goodman, in New York, and on the official Net-a-Porter website.

The good news is that each dress is individually numbered, from 8 to 14, and easy to slip into, especially when Posh herself is thrilled by stunning quality and design of the zippers. “I wanted a zip that undoes from both ends because then you can either put the dress on over your head or, if you don't want to mess up your hair, you can step into it - and also, you know, going to the [bathroom] wouldn't be this whole big palaver.” she says.

What with the dresses being as trendy and unique as they get, only a true fashionista can approach such an exquisite frock, since the price is quite “posh’ed” itself, ranging from £650 to £1,900.

Considering the fact that David Beckham's wife doesn't usually make it on any “best dressed” lists, her taste in terms of fashion seems to have known a considerable improvement. Paying heed to the wise words of Roland Mouret, who gave her a helping hand with the pattern-cutter and seamstress, the 2009 spring clothing line seems to be one of Victoria's best achievements so far.
