Apparently, February would be a busy month for wireless carrier T-Mobile. Not only is the company expected to launch its first 4G tablet PC next month, but it might also release a successor for the Samsung Vibrant, a Galaxy S device. According to some of the previous rumors on the matter, the said successor should come with support for the carrier's 4G network (based on HSPA+ technology), so that its owners would enjoy faster connectivity speeds than on the older device.

Nothing was confirmed officially on the possible arrival of this handset, most probably dubbed Samsung Vibrant 4G, but rumors on its launch date also started to emerge.

The new Android mobile phone is expected to arrive on shelves as soon as February 23rd, some leaked documents that emerged over at TmoNews suggest.

The possible arrival of this handset on T-Mobile's shelves caused some users to step up and express their anger against Samsung and T-Mobile having pushed back the release of a software update for the original Vibrant.

We're referring here to the Android 2.2 Froyo OS upgrade, which is still unavailable for the high-end device, even if the carrier promised it ever since launch day.

The new Samsung Vibrant 4G might include other upgrades too, in addition to the said support for the enhanced 4G speeds T-Mobile's network delivers.

No specific info on the OS version this device would be running emerged for the time being, but Android 2.2 or even 2.3 would be safe bets.

Since the next generation Samsung Vibrant 4G might arrive in a little more than one month from now, we might see it announced officially in the next few weeks.

However, since nothing is confirmed officially on this, we should take the info on T-Mobile's Samsung Vibrant 4G with a grain of salt, including the possible release date for the new mobile phone.
