The free communications app Viber now fully supports speech-to-text, according to an update from Viber Media Inc., the creators of the software.

Viber version 2.3.1 enables voice recognition that lets you speak out loud and dictate your text. The app works better in Arabic and Thai as the developers have included some typing fixes. Additional bug fixes are also incorporated in this release.

For those who haven’t updated Viber in a while, this update will also give you the ability to share stickers with friends, include emoticons in text messages, and send locations as messages.

The app has been fully optimized for the iPhone 5’s elongated display as well as for some features exclusive to iOS 6, including a new keypad. Requirements include iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later.
