Windows Phone users who are taking advantage of Viber’s features will be pleased to know that developers have just pushed a new update that improves on the last version of the application.

Viber received a major update about a month ago, which brought lots of new features, including the possibility to call non-Viber mobile and landline numbers at low rates.

Starting last month, Viber users have received a handful of new features such as the possibility to send video messages or multiple photos at the same time. The developers have also added hands-free Bluetooth support, so that users could seamlessly transfer calls to Bluetooth.

However, the latest update is all about improvements. While there are no new features included in this version, the developers thought that the application really needed some improvements.

Thus, the official changelog of the update mentions that the folks over at Viber Media have added some enhancements to the way the application handles photo, video and location messages. No additional details have been offered, but we suspect that these changes will further improve users’ overall experience.

You can now download Viber for Windows Phone 4.1.2 for free via Windows Phone Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
