Just months ago, Soundcraft, the giant name in mixing consoles, has released the new Vi6 digital piece of gear, much to the general awe. It's now time to witness the further expansion of this successful (Vi) series with the new Vi4 console.

Basically, it features about all the features met on the larger Vi6 mixer but it has been designed with a slightly different purpose in mind: while the Vi6 was quite a serious piece of console meant for larger stages and Pas, the Vi4 is intended
for smaller venues like clubs, theaters or churches, while being very-very serious as well!

Don't let yourselves be fooled by its (under 5 feet wide) size as it has nothing to do with its capabilities: the Vi4 has 48 inputs accessible on 24 faders. The amazing possibilities the digital technology embedded in live mixing consoles allow for a mind-blowing total of 27 buses highly configurable as masters or groups, aux or matrix outs.

If you think about the work-power of the Vi4, then rest assured: everything you saw in the Vi6 is now to be found in the Vi4 as well: the Vistonics touchscreen for immediate access with instant response to main functions in live situations, the FaderGlow fader function display and so many more.

Vi4 is definitely a very worthy heir of the whole Soundcraft legacy of outstanding quality, unlimited reliability and staggering technological progress which have rendered Soundcraft so many awards during the long years they've been in the business.

Finally, I'll add that the Soundcraft Vi4 Digital Live console benefits from the new Processing Card option which allows the use of 8 Lexicon effect-sections and 30-band EQ-ing on each output. Stay tuned for the oncoming pricing!
