Humble Bundle 6 is one of the best collection of games released so far by the Humble Bundle initiative, but one of the included games has yet to be released for Linux.

Vessel is an interesting title, a combination of a 2D platformer and a physics game. In the world of Vessel, living liquid machines have taken over the world. Their inventor, Arkwright must do everything in his power to stop them.

“Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen issues concerning our Vessel port, these versions aren't quite ready for prime time. We will be getting Vessel out to bundle buyers as soon as possible. We didn't want to remove Vessel from the bundle due to unforeseen porting hiccups, and we hope that you can forgive us for the humble fumble,” said the developers from the Strange Loop Games studio.

The Humble Bundle 6 collection is made up of 10 games: Torchlight, Rochard, Shatter, Space Pirates and Zombies, Vessel, Dustforce, BIT.TRIP RUNNER, Gratuitous Space Battles, Jamestown, and Wizorb.

I think there was never any intentions of a linux version as it has been over a month and still no word on when linux users will be getting the linux port. Not only that but there is several other games that claim to have a linux port just to sell more bundles and never got it. I think more or less humble is scamming linux users purposely with no intention of giving them games they paid for. And I know I will get out lash from whiteknighters claiming its all about charity but if that was the case why do it through something that you get something out of it.

"... there is several other games that claim to have a linux port just to sell more bundles and never got it."

What other games? I've purchased 5 bundles so far (purely for the Linux ports) and Vessel is the only one that I ever had a wait for.

That said I am getting a little frustrated waiting for Vessel to arrive for Linux. They (HB, Inc.) should not have included Vessel in the bundle if it wasn't ready for prime time (which is clearly isn't).
