Verizon is apparently getting ready to release an update for its year and a half old Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. The new build will bring a few tweaks and extra goodies to those who decide to take advantage of it.

Users left without room on their 16GB or 32GB card will surely be pleased to see that now, apps and other content can be moved to the SD card. It certainly took Samsung and Verizon some time to bring this option about, but it looks like it has finally arrived.

Ethernet connection support has also slipped in with this build, but before you jump for joy, be warned you will need an extra adapter to take advantage of this feat. But that won’t cost you much, anyway.

Verizon has taken this opportunity to discreetly slip in its own Messages Application, but you won’t be annoyed by it. Just ignore and go about doing your usual business, with your regular app of choice. It’s up to you.
