Only several weeks ago, Vertu unveiled to the world its first Android-based Luxury device, none other than the Vertu Ti, which is now available for purchase in Hong Kong at 75,000 yuan (around $12,061 / €9,272).

This is the most expensive smartphone launched with Google’s Android operating system on board, UnwiredView notes in a recent article.

The Vertu Ti smartphone was made official with a 3.7-inch touchscreen, a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor inside, 1 GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal memory. The handset also sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, along with a 1.3 MP front-facing camera, and runs under the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform.

The mobile phone also sports Bang & Olufsen audio, a titanium case, sapphire crystal screen, and 24/7 access to a special service from the company.
