Soon, the number of 4G LTE-capable smartphones available on Verizon's network will be significantly increased, as the wireless carrier is already gearing up for the release of new, appealing such devices, including the already spotted Pantech Breakout. The mobile phone leaked into the wild before, but no specific details on its availability have been unveiled until now.

However, following the emergence of a purported list of hardware specifications for the mobile phone, what appears to be a clearer photo of the device also made an appearance on the Internet, courtesy of Droid-life.

Real-life images with the new device are now available for your viewing pleasure, and things seem to look pretty appealing, that's for sure.

The new Pantech Breakout LTE has not been officially confirmed for the time being, but rumor has it that Verizon might introduce it as soon as next week.

Rumor has it that the new device will arrive on shelves at Big Red with a four-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a WVGA resolution, and that it will also include a 1GHz single-core processor.

Moreover, the specs list for this device reportedly shows 512MB of RAM, support for LTE connectivity, CDMA capabilities, WiFi and Bluetooth, and GPS receiver.

On the back, the new smartphone should include a 5-megapixel photo snapper, with video recording capabilities, complemented by a VGA camera on the front, a great option for those who like to make video calls while on the go.

One of the most interesting features of the new device would be its Hotspot ability, which would enable users connect a number of up to 10 WiFi-enabled devices to Verizon's LTE network. It will also come with 1GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot to expand it.

It will run under Android 2.3 Gingerbread when made available for purchase, with the custom UI from Pantech on top of it.
