The Windows Phone 8 device should go official soon

Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless might still get a taste of Windows Phone 8 in the end, and the already rumored Nokia Lumia 822 might be one of the first devices it is set to release with this OS flavor on board.

A newly leaked photo with the device (courtesy of evleaks) shows that it might land on shelves in a white flavor, and that wireless charging capabilities will also be packed inside it.

The photo is of low resolution, but users can still have a look at the rounded edges of the handset, which make it appear quite different from the Lumia 820 that it is based on.

The phone’s specs should not be affected by this change, so there will be the same 4.3-inch WVGA display as on the original, along with a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, an 8MP camera on the back, and the like.
