The Nokia Black update is finally available for download for the owners of the Nokia Lumia 928 smartphone on the network of Verizon Wireless in the United States.

The update was initially said to arrive about two weeks ago, but that did not happen. Today, however, users can download and install it, a recent post on WPCentral notes.

Many users claim that they have already managed to grab the new software, which suggests that the general roll out has indeed started. However, we suspect that it will arrive on stages, which means that some of you might have longer to wait for it to arrive.

Nokia Black will provide users with Bluetooth 4.0 LE support, an updated Glance screen, improved notifications, and all the features included in Windows Phone 8 GDR3.

You can manually check for the update’s availability through going to Settings > Phone Updates. If it doesn’t show right away, check again in a while, as it might take a while before it arrives on all devices.
