Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has been long rumored to be en-route to bring to the market its own flavor of the Lumia 820, and some more info on the device is now available.

Dubbed Lumia 822, the smartphone is said to arrive on shelves with a price tag of $50 attached to it with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

Moreover, the guys over at WMPoweruser claim that it will sport 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and wireless charging shell.

The downside is that the shell is now removable and that the phone feels “plasticky.” It resembles the HTC Trophy, it seems, though it is said to be taller and wider.

It will also come with a variety of software features packed inside, including the option to easily pin apps to the homescreen in the Kids Corner. Facebook, LinkedIn, OneNote, Twitter and Facebook are all said to be included.
