The long-rumored HTC One flavor for Verizon Wireless’ network appears to be getting closer to its official launch, as it has already received the necessary approvals from the FCC.

The Android smartphone will land on shelves at Big Red with support for its 4G LTE network, along with worldwide GSM radios, which suggests that it might also sport global connectivity, droid-life notes.

HTC One will be released at Verizon with model number HTC6500LVW attached to it, yet no specific info on when it might be launched has emerged until now.

Given that it has already emerged at the FCC, HTC One might be launched at the wireless carrier sooner rather than later, yet it remains to be seen when exactly that would happen, so stay tuned to learn more on this.
