Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless is almost confirmed to add Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 smartphone to its lineup.

While an official announcement on the matter is still missing, the device has already been photographed and shots with it that emerged at Engadget show Verizon’s logo all over it.

The images also confirm that it will offer support for the wireless carrier’s 4G LTE network, though the appearance of Verizon’s logo on the phone’s homebutton seems to be rather far-fetched. The handset has been said to be en-route to the wireless carrier ever since it was officially unveiled, and all that remains to be seen is when exactly this will happen.

With Samsung confirming that October will bring Galaxy Note 2 to shelves around the world, we could expect Verizon to make an formal announcement on its plans for the device only next month, so stay tuned.
