The saga of rumored release dates for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone at Verizon Wireless continues with a new report, this time one that pins the phone’s arrival to December 15th.

The handset was initially expected to land in November, but got pushed to December, and we already head over December 9th and December 13th as possible launch dates for it.

The later still has chances to pan out, yet another rumor has emerged, suggesting that the handset will arrive only two days from now.

It is not unusual for Verizon to launch new handsets on Thursday, though no official confirmation on Galaxy Nexus’ landing emerged for the time being.

The December 15th launch report comes from third-party retailers and not from Verizon themselves, so we’ll take it with a grain of salt. However, the release is bound to take place soon, since the device is already in stores.

I think I don't really care at this point, and will decide on what phone to upgrade to (android, iOS) when I get around to it, as my current phone still works fine.
