Those of you planning the purchase of a Galaxy Nexus with a contract on Verizon Wireless’ network should head over to Amazon and have a look at the offer they have on this device today.

The smartphone is available for purchase for only $0.01 with a new agreement, but with all of its appealing features still packed inside.

Galaxy Nexus was the first phone in the world to run under Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but, as Google is gearing up for the release of new devices in the popular Nexus lineup, this handset is seeing less demand on the market than before.

However, its availability at only $0.01 on contract should sound like an appealing deal for many, especially since this device has to offer a nice range of features that others still don’t, including periodic, constant updates from Google themselves.

You can see it at Amazon on this page.
