We already knew that Verizon was preparing the release for the launch of Motorola's latest tablet PCs, Motorola Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition, but no specific info on when that might happen has emerged until now.

New reports on the matter, however, suggest that we should not have too long to wait for that, especially now that a photo with the Xoom 2 Media Edition has made an appearance into the wild in a photo leaked over at Pocketnow.

Supposedly called Droid Xyboard 8.2, the new device will pack all of the features and capabilities that the original Xoom 2 Media Edition came to the market with, in addition to packing support for Verizon Wireless' network.

Featuring LTE connectivity capabilities and support for great multimedia features, the device will certainly prove great, the same as the Motorola XOOM 2, called DROID Xyboard 10.1 at Verizon, would.
