Verizon Communications Inc. and Microsoft Corp. have released a joint press release revealing the expansion of their partnership that will result in a suite of co-branded Microsoft Windows Live services being offered to Verizon's Online Digital Subscriber Line and FiOS Consumer Internet broadband customers.

"By expanding our relationship with Microsoft, a leader in Internet solutions, we continue our commitment to creating the best value in broadband, offering more and better choices than cable and creating a superior online experience."

Live.com, Windows Live Toolbar, Windows Live Search page, Verizon e-mail based on Windows Live Mail, Windows Live Messenger and even Windows Live OneCare safety scanner will all be delivered under a co-branded umbrella.
