Verzion has officially announced the release of the Motorola RAZR2 handset. The phone is aimed at the phone users interested in media content on their devices and will soon be available in the carrier's stores.

The device comes to follow the success that Motorola has managed to reach with their RAZR line of handsets, although it brings little innovative features for managing to reach the same amount of success. The phone comes with a stainless steel case meant to make it resistant and also have a special metal shine.

The MOTORAZR2 V9m is V CAST-capable and perfect for use with popular Get It Now applications, such as VZ Navigator. With this, customers can enjoy over-the-air full-track music downloads from V CAST Music, Verizon Wireless' exclusive catalog of over two million songs.

The phone comes with a highly fashionable design, which follows the sharp, bold lines of the RAZR line, with the same amount of consideration for slimness. The V9m has 12 mm in thickness and highly easy to use controls. The external display cones with touch sensitive keys for easier handling the playlist.

There is also a 2 megapixel camera packed for providing images of an average quality, which has high chances of proving to be quite useful under many circumstances. Moreover, the 4x zoom also adds to the quality of the images, although it's not at top levels.

The handset also brings picture, video, text and instant messaging capabilities, as to respond to the user's entertainment and multimedia needs. Bluetooth connectivity is also included, as most evolved handsets manage to provide for their users.

Motorola RAZR2 will be available starting with September at Verizon Wireless, for the price of USD 300, after a USD 50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year customer contract.
