With a tilt-and-swivel design

Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless announced on Thursday the launch of yet another attractive handset for its users, the Verizon Wireless Razzle. The new handset, developed by Personal Communications Devices, LLC, comes to the market with a tilt-and-swivel design, and has been designed so as to prove a great messaging solution, while also providing fast access to its built-in music player.

The specification list of the new device includes a QWERTY keypad, which is coupled with music controls on tilt-and-swivel bar, a 2.2-inch TFT display that boasts support for 262K colors, a built in 1.3-megapixel photo snapper, speakerphone, dual-band CDMA (1800/1900 MHz) connectivity options, Bluetooth capabilities with support for headset, hands-free, stereo, phonebook access, and object push for vCard and vCalendar profiles.

The Verizon Wireless Razzle also comes with a variety of lifestyle features, including: - Access to Mobile Web - Media Center-capable for easy downloading of games, ringtones and more - VZ Navigator-capable – Customers get audible turn-by-turn directions to more than 15 million points of interest and can share the directions with others - Text, picture and voice messaging (with T9 predictive text capabilities) - Task bar for shortcuts to menus - Voice commands - Up to 1,000-entry phone book - Bilingual Interface – English and Spanish languages

According to the wireless carrier, those interested in downloading music to the new handset can do so by accessing Verizon Wireless’ V CAST Music with Rhapsody service. The music can be stored on microSD memory cards, which are supported by Razzle (a 1 GB microSD card is pre-installed). The new mobile phone will come to the market in a “sleek and shiny black case with lime green highlights.”

Starting with October 6, the Verizon Wireless Razzle will be available for purchase on the company's website, priced at $69.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement. According to the carrier, the device will reach Verizon Wireless Communications Stores later during the month.
