It looks like Verizon is about to debut the long rumored HTC DROID Incredible 4G Android smartphone. The device briefly appeared on the carrier’s DROID Does site, but has yet to be made official.

The folks over at AndroidCentral were fast enough and grabbed a screenshot of the device before the carrier pulled it from its website.

By the look of it, the HTC DROID Incredible 4G features only three touch-sensitive keys, much like the latest HTC One smartphones launched on the market.

Even though the phone cannot compete against the HTC One X or One S, it still offers quite a range of neat features for those who are looking for high-end Android handsets but cannot afford the latest top-tier devices.

Before Verizon pulled the phone from its website, the HTC DROID Incredible 4G was priced at $299.99 USD (230 EUR) with a new two-year agreement, which is a bit higher than expected.

Hopefully, the carrier will drop the phone’s long-term price to somewhere around $250 USD (190 EUR) to make it more competitive on the US smartphone market.

HTC DROID Incredible 4G will be shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system on board integrated with HTC Sense 4 user interface.

The phone sports a decent 4.0-inch qHD Super LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution and 16 million colors.

As the name suggests, it will come with 4G support, along with Wi-Fi and Beats Audio software and hardware.

On the inside, DROID Incredible 4G is equipped with a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, as well as 8GB of internal memory, which can be expanded to up to 32GB via microSD card.

The phone comes pre-loaded with Slacker Radio, Pandora, and packs dual cameras: 8-megapixel rear photo snapper and VGA front facing camera for video calls. Stay tuned for the official announcement.
