Major carrier Verizon Wireless has recently kicked off an after-Christmas sale that includes a range of Android smartphones and tablets.

The promotional offer is only available until December 29 and provides customers who are willing to commit to a long-term contract the option to get interesting deals on several popular Android devices.

However, Verizon’s sale includes only certified pre-owned smartphones and tablets, which might be disappointing for some.

All in all, the carrier offers both Samsung Continuum and Motorola DROID Pro for free with a new two-year agreement. Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 16GB is available for just $349.99 (265 EUR) with a new two-year contract. The 32GB model is also on sale at Verizon Wireless for $449.99 (345 EUR) with two-year activation.

The most expensive deal is on Motorola’s DROID BIONIC, which is available for $79.99 (60 EUR) with a new two-year contract, which about $70 (53 EUR) cheaper than the original price.

In the same news, Costco also offers an interesting deal on the Motorola DROID BIONIC, which is available for $100 (75 EUR) with a new two-year agreement. However, the retailer throws in some free accessories to all customers who purchase the smartphone.

Then there’s the Samsung Fascinate that is available for only $19.99 (15 EUR) with two-year activation, but we’re pretty sure that this one won’t sell even if offered for free, especially given Samsung’s latest announcement regarding its Ice Cream Sandwich upgrading roadmap that does not include any of the Galaxy S variants.

In addition, the LG Revolution, HTC ThunderBolt and Samsung DROID CHARGE are all available for only $69.99 (53 EUR) with new two-year activation, which is about $30 (23 EUR) less than the phones’ initial pricing options.

Last but not least, Verizon Wireless offers its Jetpack 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot SCH-LC11 device for free with a new two-year agreement.
