Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless is on its way to make available for purchase on its airwaves the highly appealing iPhone 4 in few weeks time, hopping that it would attract a lot of users on its side, even determining some to leave their current carriers and join the Red flag.

Undoubtedly, the iPhone has been one of the most expected handsets on Verizon Wireless' airwaves, and now than the device is almost here, many users are expected to migrate from AT&T to Verizon.

For some, this has been a long wait, and Verizon's first iPhone ad is aimed at thanking customers for their patience.

“To our millions of customers, who never stopped believing this day would come, thank you” is what the said ad, embedded at the bottom of this article, states.

Starting with February 10th, Verizon Wireless customers would have the possibility to purchase the iPhone 4 on their carrier's airwaves, both on contract and without contract agreements.

The contract cost of iPhone 4 was unveiled when the carrier made the official announcement not too long ago as being set at $199.99 for the 16GB model, and at $299.99 for the 32GB model.

No surprise here, that's for sure, though it remains to be seen which monthly plans from the carrier would be available for those interested in the purchase of an iPhone 4 device.

As for those who would like to acquire the iconic device with Verizon connectivity but without a contract agreement, they would be able to do so for $649.99 for the 16GB model, and for $749.99 for the 32GB model.

It seems that the CDMA iPhone 4 model would actually be more expensive when purchased contract free than the GSM flavor, but this does not come as a surprise either. Some analysts suggested that this might happen even before the official announcement was made.

While waiting for the smartphone to be put on sale, have a look at the video ad that Verizon released for its users. Keep in mind that Big Red's existing customers would have the possibility to pre-order the iPhone 4 via the carrier's website starting with February 3rd on a “first come, first serve” basis.
