The new soft should arrive for owners in the next few days

If you own a Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 tablet you purchased from Verizon, you should know a new update is currently being rolled out for your tab.

Don’t get overly excited, it’s not the newest Android 4.4.3 or 4.4.4 build that’s knocking at your door, but a minor update meant to fix a few issues and bring some minor changes to the table.

The new built delivers improved stability for the Science and Technology section in the Magazine UX interface, a bug fix for the Calendar app and adds an option that enables users to wipe local content from lockscreen, all security methods included

Strangely enough, in the Verizon changelog, we can find a mention of biometrics, which doesn't make sense since the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 doesn't come with a fingerprint scanner. It’s Samsung’s newest tablet, the Galaxy Tab S, which take advantage of this functionality.

Anyway, the new build goes by number KOT49H.P905VVRUANE4 and also updates apps such as Kindle or VZ Navigator. Last but not least, it adds new widgets for WatchON and Hancom Office apps.

The update will arrive to users over-the-air (OTA) and should hit Verizon Galaxy NotePRO tablets in the next few days. To see if the new update has arrived on your device, you should go check Settings:>> About Device>> Software updates.
