Verizon prepares to deploy more software updates for various smartphones, including the DROID RAZR, HTC Thunderbolt and Casio G’Zone Commando.

The latter will be getting software update C771M080 within the next few days. The update adds Android Security patches and updates the clock widget.

In addition, the user interaction with the display while the proximity sensor is active has been improved as well. The update also enables Nextflix compatibility with this version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The keystroke performance when typing an email message has been improved, while the errors when opening the native email app have been fixed. VZ Navigator 3D City downloads is included with the software update as well.

No word on the exact release of the update, but Verizon tagged it with “Coming Soon” and published the change log on its support site.
