14 DAY TRIAL // The inexpensive LTE-enabled LG Lucid is about to receive the second software update since its launch at Verizon Wireless. Software version VS840ZV6 promises to fix a few bugs and adds some improvements.
Verizon already published the official changelog of the update, so we can safely assume the carrier will start the rollout within the next few days.
According to this changelog, the Weather Widget now syncs correctly for more precise location coordinates. There’s also an improved Dialer Widget with a few functionalities, such as “Instant Search” and “Add to Contacts.” Users will also be able to successfully dial VZW “#” shortcuts.
Last but not least, the GPS Widget has been improved as well, so users will now be able to navigate Google Maps with ease. The threshold of battery temperature has been improved so users will not see “over-heat” when using Google Navigation.
