Users can now register to receive updates on the handset's arrival

Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless is gearing up for the launch of the LG G2 flagship handset on its network, and the carrier has already published a sign-up page for the handset on its website.

No specific release date for the smartphone has been provided as of now, but users interested in it can head over to the aforementioned page to register for updates on the matter.

Made official last week, the new mobile phone will arrive on shelves in the near future with a great deal of appealing and innovative features, including volume and power buttons placed on its back.

LG G2 was announced with a large 5.2-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution, as well as with a 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor packed inside.

Furthermore, the new mobile phone sports 2GB of LPDDR3 800MHz RAM, along with 32GB of internal memory.

Announced in Black and White flavors, the mobile phone will land on shelves with support for CDMA (1x / EVDO Rev.A), 2G (GSM / EDGE), 3G (HSPA+42Mbps / HSPA+21Mbps), and LTE (SVLTE, CSFB, CA, VoLTE, RCS, MIMO) connectivity.

Furthermore, it sports a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with Optical Image Stabilization and support for full HD video recording, as well as a front camera for making video calls while on the go.

The specifications list of the new device also includes a 3000mAh Li-Polymer battery embedded inside the 138.5mm x 70.9mm x 8.9mm case.

LG G2 was also announced with Hi-Fi Sound, Google’s Android 4 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top, and a series of exclusive features from LG, such as Shot & Clear, Guest Mode, Audio Zoom, Knockon, and more.
