Earlier this week Google rolled out a special software update for the Nexus 7 tablet, which bestowed full compatibility with the Verizon 4G LTE network.

Now Google has also posted a factory image and three binary files for the slate, labeled as Android 4.2.2 build KVT49L.

The binary files improve the compatibility with a bunch of hardware components, including Audio and Sensors from ASUS, NFC from Broadcom and Graphics, Camera plus others from Qualcomm.

The factory will, of course, allow users to restore their Nexus 7 LTE to the latest stock Android firmware. The posted files might not mean much to regular users, as factories and binaries mostly come in handy to developers who want to build customs ROM for the tablet.

In any circumstance, you might still want to download them, as you don’t know when you might be needing them.
