After Apple, Samsung and Nokia announced their new flagship smartphones that are intended to boost their financial results for the next year, it's now HTC's turn to come up with something new and competitive.

The HTC Rezound is about to make its debut in the United States and is meant to compete with Apple's iPhone 4S, Samsung's Galaxy Nexus and Nokia's Lumia 800.

According to the guys over at Droid-Life, HTC Rezound is slated for a November 10 launch at Verizon Wireless.

It looks like HTC and Verizon have already started to send press invites for an event in NYC, which will be held on November 3.

During the event the Big Red will reportedly announce its HTC's Beat-equipped phone, along with its complete specs sheet, price and availability date.

In this regard, an ad has just been spotted at Verizon stores across the country, which indicates that the an official announcement is expected to go live this week.

The folks over at Droid-Life managed to take a picture of this ad that shows off the HTC Rezound ahead of its release.

According to this ad, the smartphone will be delivered with Beats by Dre in-ear headphones, as well as Joe Jonas latest solo album, Fast Life.

Although the phone's exact release date has yet to be confirmed the HTC Rezound is expected to go live at Verizon Wireless in the second or third week of November, rumors claim.

Either way, the phone is a certainty for the Big Red and the carrier customers will be able to purchase the HTC Rezound by the end of the next month.

Software-wise, the Rezound is powered by Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and enables access to more than 250,000 apps via Android Market.

Also known as HTC Vigor, the superphone is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and boasts an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash, as well as a secondary front-facing camera for video calls.

No word on the price yet, but the Rezound will probably be available for around $300 (215 EUR) with a new two-year agreement.
