Verizon Galaxy Nexus Extended Battery Now Available at Samsung

Verizon customers who have just purchased a new Galaxy Nexus smartphone to enjoy on the wireless carrier’s 4G LTE network can now acquire an extended battery that should provide their devices with additional usage time.

Available from Samsung themselves, the new batty is accompanied by an additional back cover, both put up for sale on Samung’s website for $49.99 as the Galaxy Nexus i515 Battery Bundle Kit.

Although it offers more juice when on Verizon’s LTE network, the new battery does not increase the thickness of the mobile phone. Here’s what Samsung has to say on it:
