Verizon has finally confirmed the Samsung Galaxy S III will hit shelves on July 10, after moving back and forward the release date of the smartphone a few times.

Although the South Korean company has yet to release the official factory image of the ROM, it appears like the folks over at SamsungUpdates manged to get their hands on something that looks like the final build of the firmware.

This could potentially help people who have mistakenly bricked their Galaxy S III to recover their smartphones. Obviously, there's no telling if this is indeed the final build of the stock ROM, but it sure looks to be an official version.

Those who already own the Verizon Galaxy S III may want to head over to the original thread and download the image factory just in case.
