DROID Incredible should have been one of the first smartphones to receive the Gingerbread upgrade this summer.

Unfortunately, HTC was forced to postpone the release of the upgrade back in August. No reason for the delay was given, but it's most likely software related, as the update was already pushed for testing to a limited number of DROID Incredible users.

HTC came back two weeks later with more details about the release of the promised Gingerbread upgrade and said that it will be available sometime in September.

Good news! A Gingerbread update for both DROID Incredible and ThunderBolt are coming in September. Thanks for your support!”
