Verizon’s offer doesn’t seem to have an expiration date

Earlier today, I have told you that the magenta carrier T-Mobile is offering a sweet deal to tablet owners. The company is awarding those adding a tablet to a T-Mobile voice plan 1GB of free data per month.

Well, it seems that other carriers don’t want to be left behind, so Verizon Wireless has announced that customers activating a cellular-enabled tablet on a 1GB or higher More Everything plan will be awarded an additional 1GB of data.

Unlike T-Mobile, Verizon is offering 1GB of data / per month as long as the tablet remains active, so that might as well mean for life, although with the rapid developments in the tablet market, this is highly unlikely. T-Mobile will offer only 200MB of free data / per month once 2014 expires.

One GB of data might not sound much for power users, but if you’re looking to be able to check your email, social media and do a quick web search, 1GB is more than enough.

Customers looking to purchase a tablet from Verizon have a wide range of choices, including the Nexus 7 (2013), LG G Pad 8.3, Nokia Lumia 2520 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition). So do you think Verizon’s offer is more appealing than T-Mobile's?
