The latest Motorola XOOM tablets are already official in a series of markets around the world, and should make an appearance at Verizon in the US soon, though the wireless carrier has yet to make them official.

Before that happens, however, we have confirmation on their arrival at Big Red, courtesy of a newly posted announcement on the operator’s website.

In the press release announcing the one-year anniversary of its LTE network, Verizon mentions the two upcoming 4G devices from Motorola, confirming their near availability.

“Two hot new DROID XYBOARD tablets from Motorola coming out this month,” Verizon says.

This is not the first time we learn that Motorola and Verizon plan on releasing the new XOOM tablets as DROID XYBOARD devices before the end of the year; yet, specific info on the matter still has to emerge. Stay tuned for more.
