After weeks of rumors more or less confirmed, the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE is about to make its debut at Verizon Wireless.

The carrier has just announced that the smartphone will be available starting July 5 for as low as $149.99 USD (120 EUR) after a $50 USD (40 EUR) mail-in rebate and with a new two-year agreement.

According to Verizon, those who are willing to commit to a long-term contract in order to get the DROID Incredible 4G LTE will receive the rebate in the form of a debit card.

For the time being, there are no details on the no-term price of the smartphone, but this will probably go on sale for more than $500 USD (400 EUR) outright.

HTC Incredible 4G LTE was announced earlier this year at the International CTIA Wireless 2012 trade fair, but Verizon did not disclose the release timeframe until today.

The smartphone is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system integrated with HTC Sense 4.0 UI. The Taiwanese company has yet to announce its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update schedule, so there’s no telling if the DROID Incredible 4G LTE is eligible for this upgrade.

As the name suggests, the smartphone offers 4G LTE speeds, which should offer customers average data rates of 5 to 12 megabits per second on the downlink and 2 to 5 Mbps on the uplink.

The device also comes packed with various apps and services, such as Android Beam, Read Later, HTC Video Pic and Mobile Hotspot.

On the back, the smartphone boasts an impressive 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there’s a secondary camera for video calls.

The DROID Incredible 4G LTE sports a 4-inch Super LCD qHD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution and packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor inside.

Keep in mind that HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE comes with Beats Audio technology, which means more authentic sound and improved quality. Support for 32GB microSD memory cards is available as well.
