Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless continues to have issues with the DROID Incredible supply. The company launched this new handset in late April, and demand for it has been so high that it keeps on running out of stock. According to the wireless operator, the main issues are component shortages, such as those affecting the availability of the advanced screens made by Samsung Electronics.

It seems that the DROID Incredible would have great chances to turn into one of the best selling handsets at Big Red, if it weren't for the supply problems. Verizon Chief Executive Lowell McAdam is cited stating that the Incredible is expected to out sell the DROID by Motorola. “When a shipment gets to a store now, it's gone in a matter of hours,” he said, according to Reuters. “We've had to pull way back ... Right now supply is a big problem.”

According to Lowell McAdam, the mobile phone carrier managed to sell a number of 100,000 units of the DROID Incredible within two days from launch, and the demand keeps on rising. One thing that is certain is that the phone is more than appealing, and that there are great chances the stock problems will continue, unless Verizon and HTC do something about it. Currently, Verizon says on DROID Incredible's page on its website that, “Due to high demand, this device will ship by 6/7.”

What makes this phone so appealing includes a large 3.7" 480x800 WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, a 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor, 8GB of internal memory, coupled with a microSD memory card for additional storage space, an 8-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus and video recording capabilities, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, a 3.5mm audio jack, and more. The DROID Incredible is powered by Google's Android 2.1 operating system and sports HTC's Sense user experience on top of it.
