A new Android-based smartphone is now available for purchase on the network of wireless carrier Verizon in the United States, namely the LG Enact, an entry-level device that packs a slide–out QWERTY keyboard beneath its 4.0-inch WVGA screen.

The new mobile phone can be seen listed on this page on the wireless carrier’s website, with a price tag of $19.99 (€15) attached to it with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

The device lands on shelves with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor packed inside, 8GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, as well as with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top.

Furthermore, the handset packs a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, VGA camera for video calling, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, and support for the wireless operator’s 4G LTE network.
