It's already pretty much common knowledge that many car audio systems (mostly aftermarket) come packed with USB ports, and this is exactly the reason why Verbatim introduced a brand new range of products designed specifically to work with these multimedia systems.

To be perfectly honest, the new Store ‘n’ Go USB Car Audio Storage solutions don't really provide any specific features that recommend them as particularly suited for audio playback (it's more of a marketing gimmick, really, since, after all, we're only talking about a small flash memory module connected to an USB connector and featuring a couple of extra circuits – no audio-related hardware whatsoever).

Their size, however, namely 17.15mm long x 14.85mm wide x 7.7mm deep (which actually makes them smaller than an Euro coin, just to give reference item) will really prove to be a plus when inserted in the USB ports placed on car audio systems, simply because their size will make them fairly unobtrusive.

Naturally, the drives also have quite a low weight (just around 2 grams), and will work quite well with just about any other type of device featuring an USB 2.0 host port (computers, notebooks, etc.).

Unfortunately, for some strange reason, Verbatim decided to offer a single version (in terms of storage) of their Store ‘n’ Go USB Car Audio flash drive, that packs around 8GB of space, which is, however, quite enough for storing around 2000 audio tracks (more than enough for most car trips, to be perfectly honest).

Last, but certainly not least, it's also important to point out that pricing for the new Verbatim Store ‘n’ Go USB Car Audio flash drive has been set at around 18 Euro, which is really quite OK, if we compare it to that of some of the other similar storage solutions available out there, on the market.
