When you think about computer peripherals, Verbatim most likely won't be among your top choices. However, the company has decided to expand its product portfolio with the introduction of a new line of mice for portable computer systems. The new products are part of the company's latest Easy Riser family and come in the form of ultra-slim mobile mice that are supported by both Windows and Mac operating systems.

“With the ability to offer both portability and comfort, it's like getting two mice in one,” Ron Hanafin, Verbatim product marketing manager, said. “That makes the Easy Riser range of mice ideal for the growing number of mobile users.”

The new Verbatim mouse has been designed to provide an alternative to notebook users, as it features an innovative design that allows the device to change its height, depending on the user's requirements. With the launch of the new Easy Riser family of ultra-slim mobile mice, the company has introduced several new products, including the Nano Wireless mouse, a Bluetooth wireless mouse and a USB Retractable wired mouse. All three models are said to boast the company's innovative design, which enables users to configure their height with a simple flick of a mouse.

All three models boast a silver-and-black chassis and feature an ergonomic design that is said to be comfortable for both right- and left-hand use. The new Verbatim mice also come with a configurable scroll wheel, which enables the user to assign a favorite function for a quick access, while the built-in sleep mode puts the mouse to sleep to save the battery life.

Verbatim's new Easy Riser mice are expected to become available in October with an MSRP of US$19.99 for the Retractable version, of US$34.99 for the Nano and of US$39.99 for the Bluetooth-enabled model.
