It wasn't so long ago that Corsair announced that its Vengeance series of high-tier memory was going blue, but it looks like the company did something more with the line, namely add some new members to it.
Corsair is one of those companies whose products have garnered it wide acclaim from many organizations and press entities.
Its work on the memory and power supply markets has been especially lauded, because of its focus on performance and energy efficiency, sometimes even at the expense of affordability.
Among other things, the outfit has delivered the high-end Vengeance series of DDR3, which even
turned blue back at the start of the month (March 2011).
Now, a new press release has been issued, one which is meant to bring to end-users' attention that three new products have been added to this very series.
Specifically, Corsair begun selling a 4 GB kit, a 6 GB one and a 12 GB solution, all of them aimed at high-end machines, what with their clock speeds of 2,000 MHz.
The 4 GB kit is composed of two 2 GB modules and costs 54.70 Euro, while the 6 GB one has three such modules and a price of 105.69 Euro. Finally, the 12 GB one features three 4 GB modules and a price of 209.89 Euro.
All modules have XMP support, work at the aforementioned clock speeds and boast latencies of 10-10-10-27 (9-9-9-24 SPD) while getting powered by a current of 1.5V.
"Our new 2000MHz Vengeance memory is perfect for PC gamers and enthusiasts, as well as systems integrators who value the outstanding overclockability of the Vengeance family, and are looking for even more speed." said Thi La, vice president of Memory Products at Corsair.
"They're a great choice for anyone looking to make the most of their high-performance system."
For those that are interested in looks, it should be noted that the new memory products all have Black Vengeance heatspreaders.
