The fourth-generation Extreme-series CPUs are spreading fast

Intel's Ivy Bridge-E series of extreme-performance central processing units is now out and about, which means that desktop PC makers have work to do.

Or maybe not, since they had most likely updated their systems even before the launch of the chips actually happened.

Anyway, the new Core i7 Ivy Bridge-E Extreme Edition CPUs are now selectable when configuring the Genesis, Millenium and Chronos desktops from Origin PC.

The processors, with their 22nm architecture, will bring with them better performance for less power, a great overclocking potential, and the ability to easily move through applications via Intel Hyper-Threading technology.

Origin PC has even included free lifetime 24/7 support with all computers, in the US anyway, and the option to allow Origin PC's system builders to overclock the computer you order.
