The company's desktops should have all three boards as an option now

The market for pre-built high-end gaming systems, boutique gaming PCs as it were, isn't all that large, but it makes up for it in sheer pricing, which is why Velocity Micro felt comfortable adding the latest NVIDIA boards to its lineup. Truth be told, it would have been odd if the company skipped on this, since pretty much every other boutique PC maker is doing the same.

It's an old and familiar dance. Intel and/or AMD launch a CPU/APU, or AMD/NVIDIA release(s) some new video board, and voila! All of a sudden there are dozens of new desktop CP configurations to peruse.

Anyway, Velocity Micro has only updated some of its desktop PCs, and not all of them have all three video cards up for grabs.

The GeForce GTX TITAN Black is just so much longer than the GTX 750 and GTX 750 Ti that it doesn't really fit inside some of the PCs.

Besides, it would be strange indeed to get a PC where the graphics adapter costs more than every other piece of hardware combined.

The Edge Z30 SmallBlock and Edge Z40 are getting the GTX 750 and GTX 750 Ti Maxwell-based adapters.

Raptor Z95 and Raptor Signature Edition are the ones getting the GeForce GTX TITAN Black (which is not, in fact, black).

"Every evolution of the GeForce cards presents better and better choices for consumers, and these new products are no exception," said Randy Copeland, president and CEO of Velocity Micro.

"With the best-in-class performance of the TITAN Black and incredible price for performance of the GTX 750 and 750 Ti, NVIDIA has brought two great choices to market. We're excited to offer them to our enthusiast customers."

Velocity Micro kind of jumped the gun here, since the Maxwell graphics cards won't be out for another two hours or so, but it's not like it hasn't happened before. The PCs have starting prices of $829 / €829 to $2,999 / €2,999.
