New developments have surfaced in the case of the accident that killed six teens in a crammed SUV in Ohio.

It appears the teenagers crashed because they were speeding while going through a spot known as the "Dead Man's Curve," on their way to Warren on Sunday, March 10.

In addition to that, the Honda Passport SUV they were in had been stolen that day. As I mentioned, authorities could not initially pinpoint how they got in possession of the vehicle registered to one Marguis Stephenson from Youngstown. The car was reported stolen on Monday, March 11.

18-year-old Brian Henry, one of two survivors who were also in the car during the incident, recalls asking the driver to slow down while passing through the 35-mph (56-kph) area.

According to the Examiner, he lost consciousness after the vehicle hit a guardrail but regaining it after they landed in a swamp. As the SUV was sinking, he was able to smash a window and break free.
