Over 4,000 users are impacted by the data breach

Vegastripping.com, a website that provides users with information on hotels and casinos in Las Vegas, has been hacked. An individual who uses the online moniker “Vapor” has published the details of thousands of users on Pastebin.

The leaked data includes the usernames, email addresses, passwords, and other contact information of around 4,300 users, Cyber War News has determined.

Unfortunately, administrator credentials are also included in the leak. The passwords are hashed, but with MD5, which means that they’re easy to crack.

I’ve reached out to Vegas Tripping to see if they’re aware of the breach. In the meantime, users who have registered an account on the website are advised to change their passwords.

If the same password has been used for other online accounts, it should be changed there as well.
