The latest development version of VectorLinux, 7.0 RC3.4, has just been released and it comes with a lot of updates.

Biggest change in VectorLinux 7.0 RC3.4, the latest development version before going final, is the move to Linux kernel 3.0.4, bringing new functionality and speed, at least according to the Robert Lange, a developer from the VectorLinux team.

Other changes include a lot more firmware entries so more wireless chipsets are supported,  Firefox 7.0.1,  Cairo-Dock 2.4.0, Mesa 7.10.2, and the latest  X.Org drivers. For owners of  Nvidia or ATI video cards there are also a few games included.

A lot of other bugs have been fixed from the 2.1 Release Candidate and the developers are keen to know what users think of their distribution.
